Gabi Huber nominated to Datwyler’s Board of Directors

The Board of Dätwyler Holding Inc. has decided to nominate Gabi Huber for election as a new director at the Annual General Meeting on 23 April 2013. At the same General Meeting, Franz Steinegger will step down from Datwyler’s Board having reached retirement age.

Gabi Huber holds a doctorate in law and practises as an independent lawyer with an office in Altdorf. Since 2003, she has represented the Canton of Uri in the National Council. She has been the “FDP.The Liberals” parliamentary group leader since 2008. Prior to her election to the National Council, she served as a member of the cantonal government and head of the Finance Department of the Canton of Uri from 1996 to 2004. From 2002 to 2004, she was president of the Uri cantonal executive. Gabi Huber is a member of the Advisory Board of PricewaterhouseCoopers Switzerland and a delegate of Swiss Mobiliar Cooperative Company.
