Key figures SIX Swiss Exchange and Scoach Switzerland: Year 2012
Share prices on SIX Swiss Exchange rose strongly in the second half of the year in particular. The SMI blue chip index stood at 6‘822.4 points at the end of the year, closing at a record high since 2007; the same applies to the SLI Swiss Leader Index. The SBI Swiss Bond Index even ended the year at the highest recorded year-end value ever. In contrast, markedly less trading was conducted on SIX Swiss Exchange and Scoach Switzerland. Overall, trading volumes fell by 23.1% to CHF 892.6 billion and the number of trades by 21.2% to 31,549,599. This is due to the economic and regulatory uncertainties, whose effects were not only observed throughout Europe but virtually around the world.

Die Kurse an SIX Swiss Exchange haben insbesondere in der zweiten Jahreshälfte deutlich zugelegt. Der Blue Chip Index SMI stand am Jahresende auf 6‘822.4 Punkten und schloss damit so hoch ab wie nie mehr seit 2007, gleiches gilt auch für den Swiss Leader Index SLI. Der Schweizer Bond Index SBI beendete das Jahr gar auf dem höchsten je notierten Jahresendwert. Demgegenüber waren an SIX Swiss Exchange und Scoach Schweiz markant weniger Handelsaktivitäten zu verzeichnen. Insgesamt sank der Handelsumsatz um 23,1% auf CHF 892,6 Milliarden und die Anzahl der Handelsabschlüsse um 21,2% auf 31‘549‘599. Dies ist zurückzuführen auf wirtschaftliche und regulatorische Unsicherheiten, deren Auswirkungen nicht nur in ganz Europa sondern praktisch weltweit beobachtbar waren.

Les cours boursiers à SIX Swiss Exchange ont considérablement augmenté, notamment au cours du deuxième semestre. Fin décembre, l'indice des blue chips SMI clôturait à 6‘822.4 points atteignant un niveau inégalé depuis 2007. Il en est de même pour l'indice SLI Swiss Leader Index. L'indice Swiss Bond Index SBI a terminé l'année avec la meilleure performance jamais enregistrée. En revanche, SIX Swiss Exchange et Scoach Suisse ont enregistré une forte baisse des activités de négoce. Au total, le chiffre d'affaires s'est replié de 23,1% pour s'établir à CHF 892,6 milliards et le nombre de transactions de 21,2% à 31‘549‘599. Ce recul est imputable aux incertitudes économiques et réglementaires dont les effets se font ressentir, pas seulement en Europe mais aussi partout dans le monde.
