Dirk De Nil appointed Head of Customer, Distribution and Marketing for Zurich’s General Insurance
Zurich, February 8, 2013 – Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) announces the appointment of Dirk De Nil (50, Belgian citizen) to the position of Head of Customer, Distribution and Marketing for its General Insurance (GI) business. Previously he held the position of Head of Sales and Distribution for GI.
In his new role, Mr. De Nil will continue to report to Michael Kerner, CEO General Insurance. “I’m convinced that with Dirk’s appointment and the bringing together of our three market facing functions, we can best continue to become even more customer focused and better achieve our goals”, Mr. Kerner said.

Zürich, 8. Februar 2013 – Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) ernennt Dirk De Nil (50, Belgier) zum Head of Customer, Distribution and Marketing für ihr Schadenversicherungssegment (General Insurance (GI)). Bis anhin war er Head of Sales and Distribution für GI.
In seiner neuen Position wird De Nil weiterhin an Michael Kerner, CEO General Insurance, berichten. “Ich bin überzeugt, dass Dirk De Nils Ernennung und die Zusammenführung unserer drei auf den Markt ausgerichteten Funktionen zu einer verbesserten Kundenorientierung und zum besseren Erreichen unserer Ziele beitragen werden”, sagte Kerner.
