23 October 2012 – Geneva, Switzerland: Advanced Digital Broadcast (www.adbglobal.com), a leading supplier of advanced solutions for the connected home, announced today that two of its products: Epicentro® Software Platform and the ADB-2721W set-top-box have been selected as finalists in the TelcoTV Vision Awards, in the categories “Best Innovation in Middleware” and “Best Innovation in Customer Premises Equipment”, respectively. The winners of the awards will be announced during keynote sessions at the TelcoTV Conference and Expo on 25th October at the Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas.

The ADB-2721W is a high definition IPTV set-top box based on state-of-the-art dual-core silicon technology, ensuring an enhanced graphical user experience and full 1080P decoding. It integrates an HTML5 compliant browser, and supports adaptive video streaming technologies such as HTTP Live Streaming (HLS). The ADB-2721W also supports advanced broadband IP features such as home networking, TR-069 remote management and Over-The-Top (OTT) services, with both walled garden and open Internet options. ADB will be demonstrating the shortlisted products and other innovative solutions at the TelcoTV show, 24th – 26thOctober on Booth 725.
