Key traffic figures February 2025
In February 2025, 2,034,948 passengers passed through Zurich Airport, corresponding to an increase of 1% compared to last year.
In February, the number of local passengers was 1,434,426. Transfer passengers amounted to 29%, equal to 597,038 passengers.
Year on year, air traffic movements increased by 2% to 18,105 take offs or landings. The average passenger per movement figure decreased to 127 (-3% vs. previous year). The average seat load factor was at 75% (-2 percentage points vs. previous year).
A total of 34,823 tons of freight were transported at Zurich Airport during the month of February. This led to an increase of 2% in freight volume compared to last year.
